Finished in a delightful all
steel body, steel fenders, and steel running boards, this
Cabriolet showcases beautiful paint and body throughout. This Cream finish uses Wanda
paint. Wanda finishes originated in Brazil. The bumpers/bumperettes are
new and the '36 grille is highly polished. The engine cowls open and
close with ease. Power is courtesy of this street-tuned
Chevrolet crate V8 engine. This restoration was completed in
1996 and has been driven very little since. This engine has been
dressed with chromed Oldsmobile Rocket valve covers. We are
currently in the process of installing a new Vintage Air
Conditioning system that features a chromed compressor and
components in our (Texas Classic Cars of Dallas) facility. The
firewall is beautifully detailed. This engine features
electronic ignition along with a polished intake manifold, 4bbl.
carburetor, and polished header exhaust system. I also want to
mention that all wiring and the harness is professionally done. The interior features
wonderful seating done in two-tone with chocolate piping along
with magnificent vintage restored components including a Banjo
spoke steering wheel. The dash features these
original Ford gauges restored to new. The speedometer is working
and the back lighting glows. The seating is in excellent
condition front to back, complete with quality seat belts. The trunk is upholstered to
match the interior. There is an Optima batter mounted in the
rear with a billet aluminum tie-down. The brown convertible top
seals up correctly and showcases this classic Ford very well. The convertible top frame is
highly polished throughout. The fenders and running
boards are steel. The undercarriage is highly
detailed and showcases the quality of the restoration work.
Notice the power brake booster hidden underneath along with the
stout Ford 9-Inch Rear end with 3.25 gearing. This is an
excellent cruiser and an absolute pleasure to drive and show.
