Wide whitewall Firestone Deluxe Champions are wrapped around the restored factory steel wheels with Deluxe caps and beauty rings. This car is equipped with front and rear bumper guards.

This car has been carefully restored to original. Much time and attention to detail has been spent to restore this example. The interior is Mohair by LeBaron Bonney.

The original gauge cluster has been restored as well and shows as new.

Options were few in the Ford Deluxe. Unlike the Super Deluxe, this model doesn't feature a heater or radio and has been kept true to its roots.

These unique jump seats were a neat feature of the Opera Coupe.

This '40 Ford Deluxe has been lucky enough to escape the grasp of hot rodders. The '40 Ford Deluxe has been a perennial favorite to modify for decades. This car has been kept original and correct.

Under the hood is the famous flathead V8. This beautifully detailed flathead features Ford components throughout. It is not the original engine that came in the car, but has been rebuilt.

The 6-volt charging system has been retained.

The 1940 Ford's front end is unmistakable.
The undercarriage is beautifully detailed. This car was restored down to the nuts and bolts. The frame and undercarriage is in exceptionally nice condition on this dry climate '40.
The door undersides are in excellent condition. Closer inspection of the exterior finish will flaws and some lacquer checking. The body is all steel and in excellent condition underneath the older finish. The paint has just been polished and shows well.

The Columbia 2 speed rear end was rebuilt and works excellent. This car is a pleasure to cruise in.

The fresh air cowl works great.
The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with correct mat, spare tire/wheel, jacking equipment and side mirror.
