Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this beautiful classic Pre-War example of Ford's F-1 Pickup Truck. This 1941 model has been treated to an extensive frame-off restoration completed in November, 2012. This truck has been built to drive with comfort and win trophies at local and larger regional car shows. Fly Low or Fly High, many of our photos of this classic F-1 Pickup Truck were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit the historic Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.

The exterior showcases quality base/clear coat brilliant red paint throughout. The steel body and running boards are in exceptional condition throughout. The interior is beautifully done, finished in tan leather with vinyl accents. Our shop installed insulation under the carpet, up the fire wall and on the floor just a few months ago. The seating features tan hides with contrasting stitching.

We also installed Class Auto Air in this great truck in 2012. The gauges are by Classic Instruments. The interior was fully dis-assembled during the extensive restoration work. The transmission is shifted through with ease courtesy of the Lokar shifter. A functional chrome handled emergency brake is also in place.  This is a stunning truck. The exterior retains the stylish Art Deco design features, full "teardrop" style fenders & steel running boards. The wood bed is beautiful, fitted in this truck along with polished stainless strips during the restoration. The bed interior sheet metal is in excellent condition.

The windshield is a curved single piece. All of the glass and seals were replaced during the extensive restoration efforts. The headliner is in excellent condition as are the door panels. This is a very well put together truck and it shows.  Under the hood is the mild performance built 350 c.i. Chevrolet V8 engine. This powerplant features  an Edelbrock RPM aluminum intake & carburetor. Exhaust gases are expelled through custom headers to a free-flowing dual exhaust system. The cooling system features a high capacity aluminum radiator.

A classic Cadillac air cleaner & finned aluminum valve covers finish out the engine compartment. The firewall and inner fenders are clean and detailed throughout. The undercarriage is a further testament to the quality condition of this truck. The chassis features powder-coating. The front end is a Mustang II with disc brakes. The flooring and cab is in excellent condition throughout as is the suspension front to back and dual exhaust system.
