We were told this great old truck came from Wisconson. It apperars to be unrestored and as original as can be. In the condition it is in, we can't imagine it served it's life in the snow country, especialy with it's open cab.
What a great piece for a collector of old fire trucks.
The engine number is actually the number on the tilte which tels us it is the original engine. The 6 cylinder runs great. We don't believe it has been rebuilt recentl, but seems to be tight. THere are no major leaks that we have noticed.
The Sterling Siren is still operational as you heard in our video. The red strobe light also works.
