The dash
displays chromed trim thorughout.
The standard Ford Deluxe
displayed plain trim. This
example features a functional
and clear speedometer and amp
gauge. The original oil pressure
gauge and water temperature
gauges are not working. The seating
displays very well. Upholstered
in tweed, it is highlighted with
burgundy vinyl piping. The
headliner is new & of a felt
material as the original was. The door
panels are simple and detailed.
All of the glass is in very good
to excellent condition
throughout this '47 Ford Super
Deluxe. The factory
heater is intact. The engine
compartment displays this
mechanically sound Flathead V8.
Rebuilt with less than 75 miles
logged, this is a reliable
drivetrain. Mated to the 3-speed
manual transmission with a new
clutch, this is a very smooth
driving and shifting automobile.
The automotive work was
performed by Happy Motoring Auto
Repair Inc. in Wylie, Texas. The
firewall, inner fenders, and
core support are painted and
detailed. This is a beautiful
car throughout. The charging
system retains a generator. The
undercarriage displays very
well. This is a well-cared for
example and it shows. The
suspension and flooring show
very well. It was recently
cleaned and detailed throughout.
A new steel gas tank has also
just been installed. I also want
to reiterate that this Ford is a
pleasure to cruise down the
road. The trunk is
clean and detailed, complete
with a matching spare tire/wheel
and rubber mat. A beautiful
stance indeed, this is partially
contributed to the restored
16-inch painted steel wheels &
beauty caps, wrapped in 8.00-16
wide whitewall tires.
