Open the door to 1950. The original steering wheel is complimented by matching door panels with blue inserts.

This stance is unmistakable. Hudson's held a low center of gravity for the time. The Pacemaker was a new model introduced in 1950. It rode on a 119 inch wheelbase. These wire hubcaps are fitted on the factory wheels wrapped in B.F. Goodrich Silvertown Wide Whitewall tires sized at 7.10-15 on all four corners.

We also have a set of the red triangle hubcaps and beauty rings that are included in the sale.
The rare chrome and stainless pieces are intact throughout this Pacemaker.

Close inspect of the paint & body will reveal a number of flaws on this driver quality finish. There are chip touch-ups and imperfects to note on inspection.
Further inspection of the engine compartment will reveal this strong running 162 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine. induction is courtesy of the down-draft carburetor with the correct oil bath breather. The exhaust system sounds strong. The engine is quick to start and runs smoothly. The firewall, inner fenders and core support are solid and clean.
The undercarriage features the original framework throughout. This are some areas of corrosion damage pictured, confined to the rocker panel areas. The flooring and frame look to be solid throughout. This is a dry climate example.

The sloping shape of the Hudson is timeless to this day. This car attracts an unbelievable amount of attention driving down the road. Be sure to play our video/sound film near the beginning of the presentation.


The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the full-sized spare.
The front grille features polished original bright work and bumper guards.
The headlights are working as are the tail lights.
The glass is intact throughout.
