Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this beautifully restored 1951 Chevrolet Five-Window Pickup Truck. This truck has been lovingly restored by the longtime owner down the frame. We have 200+ photos documenting the extensive restoration work done along with $25,000+ in receipts alone.
The grille is beautifully detailed and complimented by amber lights. Due to the Korean military action, chromium was a rare commodity in 1951. The majority of '51 Chevrolet trucks sported painted grilles.
Under the hood is the beautifully detailed and rebuilt Series II inline 6 cylinder engine. This power plant is paired with the 3-speed manual transmission. This is a 1957 Chevrolet Pickup drive train that was completely rebuilt. The engine, transmission, and rear end have been rebuilt. This is an EXCELLENT cruising truck at highway speeds. The rear end is fitted with 3.73 gearing.
Close inspection of the engine compartment reveal beautifully detailed inner fenders, core support, and firewall sheet metal, paint, and fasteners throughout. The engine block, manifolds, carburetor, and external oil filter show very well. The correct breather assembly has also been utilized.
The exterior displays a brilliant red finish in exceptionally nice condition. The body is laser straight throughout. The paint is a base/clear coat beautifully done. This truck was built approximately 8 years ago and has amassed multiple 1st place trophies since then. It is in excellent condition today. The truck has never seen rain since its restoration and is always garage kept. The sheet metal on this Texas truck is outstanding throughout with zero rust. The bed and tailgate are new.
Both the bed and tailgate were replaced during the restoration. This is a show quality truck that you can drive.
The bed and stainless strips were all replaced along with a unique stake configuration used. The tailgate is new and features all new hardware.

The running boards compliment this truck very well and are paired with bowtie step-plates.
The custom dash features white-faced gauges by Classic Instruments along with a custom 4-spoke steering wheel.
The seating is gray vinyl & peppered cloth. A custom tailored center console rests in the middle along with the Blaupunkt CD stereo system.
All of the glass and seals were replaced throughout the truck. You can see the classic split windshield design above.

The undercarriage really showcases the extent of the restoration. You'll notice all replaced fasteners as well as the rebuilt engine, transmission, and rear axle. This is a stout Chevrolet 10-bolt rear end.
The spare tire/wheel is mounted and ready. The bed underside and suspension is clean and detailed, the suspension components have been rebuilt.
The cab and running board undersides are also in excellent condition.
The Blaupunkt AM/FM Stereo CD has been incorporated into the hand crafted console along with a pair of speakers for a rich tone.
The door panels are in excellent condition, featuring vinyl inserts, new fasters, and quality paint throughout.
Notice the headliner and all rubber seals are new.

The classic Five-Window cab itself is excellent.
