Fly Low or Fly High, many of our photos of this classic 55 were taken in front of the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The exterior two-tone paint shows exceptionally well throughout. There are a few imperfections in the side stainless, but it also shows well. The dual exhaust sounds excellent. Be sure to check out the video of this BelAir in action. The chromed bumpers are very nice front to back.

Under the hood is the previously rebuilt & updated 350 cubic inch V8. This powerplant features upgraded induction and exhaust. The 4bbl. Holley carburetor sits atop an aluminum 4bbl. intake manifold. The engine block casting is 3970010. Exhaust gases are expelled through a full muffler exhaust system and headers. Further inspection of the engine compartment confirm original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, inner fenders, and core support. Edelbrock vintage series finned aluminum valve covers & breather assembly round out the engine compartment. The brakes are updated power front discs.

The original option identification plate is also in place. Open the doors to 1955.  The interior features custom upholstered bench seating with Chevrolet bowtie embroidery. The dash houses the factory gauge cluster and brightwork, showing well. An updated AM/FM bowtie cassette stereo has also been installed. The steering wheel is in beautiful condition. Rubber BelAir mats protect the carpeting. The door panels are clean and detailed, custom upholstered to match the seating. The door undersides are solid.

The undercarriage is in good condition. Its had some floor work done, but it was done well. The bracing is intact throughout. The frame itself is in great shape. The TH350 3-speed automatic transmission features a chromed & finned pan with a drain plug. The trunk is clean and detailed, finished out with the factory rubber mat and spare tire/wheel. You can see some cracking at the driver's side corner of the bottom trunk lip, photographed above. There is some body filler showing here.
