Open the door to 1956. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Leather wraps the dash, seating, and door panels. The intricate original bright work is in beautiful condition.

The power operated seat is not working and the power antenna is not raising up.

The seating displays this two-tone custom leather upholstery. The white leather fits perfectly with the soft red inserts. I want to mention that these are two different grains of leather and very tastefully done.

The dash is wrapped in leather and features the classic Cadillac style and grace. The original AM signal-seeker radio is still in place as is the gauge cluster and classi c Autotronic Eye.

This beautiful example showcases an older high qualiy finish that has just been professionally polished, waxed, and sealed for this brilliant shine. The sheetmetal is exceptionally straight and nice throughout this dry climate example. The brightwork is striking, what an unforgettable design the 1956 Cadillac is.

Under the hood is the "new" for '56 365 c.i. 4bbl. V8. This powerplant was now rated at 285 horsepower and mated with a much improved for '56 Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.

This example runs and drives well. The engine is clean and detailed. It has been cared for mechanically. The carburetor has been replaced and we do have what was on it. Be sure to play our short video presentation of this Cadillac in action at the beginning of our display. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are solid.

The flooring and framework is exceptionally nice and solid throughout. This car has been cared for and kept in dry conditions and it shows throughout the body and especially underneath.

The trunk is remote operated with a button in the glove box. This Cadillac option was first offered in 1956. The trunk is clean and detailed, featuring custom carpeting and paneling along with a spare wheel/wide white tire.
