The undercarriage features the trademark factory reinforced X frame along with solid flooring throughout. The braces are intact, with one especially in need of repair/replacement (photographed.) Overall, this is a very solid example of a BelAir. The frame is intact and solid throughout as well.
Open the door to 1957. The interior features factory styled upholstery along with the original brightwork and gauges. The dash displays the original speedometer cluster along with an aftermarket bowtie AM/FM stereo. The original steering wheel and horn beauty ring are in good condition. The vintage air conditioning features vents installed under the dash.
The Continental Kit shows well and it paired perfectly with the factory fender skirts and BelAir specific lower body molding.
Chevrolet's 57 was originally designed in '54. The '57 is 2 1/2 inches longer than previous BelAirs. It received a wider and taller grille and 14-inch wheels instead of 15s. The low, sleek, and wide '57 Chevy was cemented into the car enthusiasts mind for generations. The '57 Chevy wasn't only the preferred car of teenagers in the 1960s, it is an American Automobile enthusiasts favorite car today.
The doors, hood, and trunk open correctly. The power white convertible operates as it should. The glass is in good condition throughout. The windows roll up and down on their tracks. The convertible top is in good condition as well. We do have the convertible top boot that snaps into place, but it is torn on one side.
