Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this very rare 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang D-code coupe. This well optioned coupe features a slew of factory options including the 289 4V "D" code V8 engine. This car underwent an extensive ground-up restoration b arguably one of North Texas' most prestigious classic/custom car restoration companies, HCC Performance. HCC Performance is also responsible for such builds as Justin Timberlake's awesome black 1967 Pontiac GTO featured in his music video Suit & Tie. The quality of this Mustang is no different.

This particular Mustang  was purchased by a local Dallas, Texas family in the mid 1970s when it was given to their daughter who drive the car through High School, College, and adulthood until parking it in her father's garage where the current owner was fortunate enough to locate it, purchase it, and restore it to its beautiful condition today. According to the original family, the car was never wrecked or molested in any way. This car retains its original sheetmetal including the rust free quarter panels and fenders. An engine malfunction motivated the family to completely rebuilt the engine and drivetrain in 1996 including all new components. Fortunately, the owner's saved the original breather, valve covers, carburetor, and other hard to find early components.

The exterior showcases the stunning Wimbleton White paint, again done by HCC Performance. The paint and body are in excellent condition as is the brightwork through this Mustang. Plain Jane hubcaps were passed over in favor of these 14-inch styled steel Mustang wheels with B.F. Goodrich Silvertown Dual Redline radial tires all around for a proper drive. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos. We would like to thank the Flight Museum for allowing us to photograph our classic cars with their vintage aviation displays. Be sure to visit the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.

The 289 "D" code engine is factory rated at 210 horsepower. Much attention to detail was spent throughout this car, especially the engine compartment. Induction is courtesy of the correct Autolite 4bbl. carburetor while exhaust is expelled through factory cast iron manifolds & dual exhaust. The engine compartment shows exceptionally well throughout this car, correct down to the radiator clamps, breather, valve covers, etc. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support steel is in great shape.

Open the doors to 1966. The interior has been restored in correct standard red vinyl, just as it came. This is a beautiful interior. The gauge cluster is clear and detailed while all systems are functional including the under-dash air conditioning unit. The dash, door panels, seating, carpeting, and soft rubber components were replaced throughout this car. The undercarriage is a further testament to the excellent condition of this Mustang. The frame rails, flooring, and suspension is in great shape throughout. The engine, transmission, and differential are clean and detailed as well.

The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the correct mat & spare tire/wheel. This is your opportunity to own a very nice collector quality 1964 1/2 "D" code 289 Ford Mustang Coupe.
