Standard equipment for the 1965 Corvette now included front and rear disc brakes. Side exhaust pipes, functional front fender louvers, and a restyled grille were also featured on the '65 models. This example showcases its original body displaying a repaint of Ermine white.

1965 Corvettes offered a host of creature comforts, available but seldom ordered. This car is equipped with the Teakwood steering wheel along with power windows, leather seats, an AM/FM radio, and power antenna. The gauges are functional, including the tachometer and clock. This car is showing just over 73,950 miles, believed to be original to the car.

This Corvette Coupe is also optioned with the 402AA Black Leather interior, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, and Soft-Ray tinted glass.

1965 would be the first and only year of the 396 big block engine in the Corvette. This example is equipped with its original 327/250HP V8, with a vintage '66 big block hood looming above.

The engine compartment is clean and detailed. This engine is equipped with its factory exhaust and ignition shielding along with the factory iron intake and 4bbl. carburetor. Exhaust gases are expelled through the stock manifolds to the factory side pipes. (Sound Excellent). Further inspection of the engine compartment reveal clean and detailed inner fenders, fender clips, and firewall. The Harrison overflow tank is also in place.

The body displays a beautiful Ermine white finish. Some minor checking can be observed around the A-pillar areas on this original bodied example. The bonding strips are intact throughout and the paint does shows very well. The doors fit correctly as does the hood.

Corvettes could be ordered with standard wheel covers or optional Knock-Off wheels in 1965. This example sports a nice reproduction set of Knock-Off wheels wrapped in 215/70R15 whitewall tires.

The undercarriage displays clean and detailed original flooring and framework. The suspension has had previous work done as you can see in our photos. This car rides and handles excellent. The rear end stamping is AL61465, correct for this car. Although always a 4-speed backed Corvette, the transmission is a latter Muncie Casting.

The original identification plates are in their correct positions.
