Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this classic 1965 Ford Mustang 4-Speed Coupe. This car showcases its correct Rangoon Red color in a nice re-finish with new chrome throughout. The 289 "C" code V8 engine runs very strong and is paired with the factory-optioned 4-speed manual transmission

Our photoshoot of this classic Mustang was done at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The interior is in excellent condition. Check out the factory Rally Pac Gauges. Both the tachometer & the clock work. The steering feels great and the brakes stop straight. The dash and gauges are in excellent condition. The woodgrain GT steering wheel really fits this car's attitude perfectly.

The two-tone red & white vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition, paired with the factory center console & HURST shifter. The carpeting is clean and detailed, fitted with carpeted Pony floor mats. The exterior presents a very good & straight dry climate body with a well done paint job in the factory Rangoon Red finish. The bumpers were re-chromed as well. The emblems and trim are in exceptional condition throughout.

Under the hood is the "C" code 289 2bbl. V8. It runs excellent and has plenty of response and power. The carburetor was recently rebuilt. The exhaust system features manifolds paired with a custom H-pipe dual exhaust system. Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm the VIN stamped in the fenderwell along with original sheetmetal throughout the inner fenders, core support and firewall. The undercarriage shows the extent of work performed on this Mustang.

The front suspension has been completed rebuilt. The rear springs have been replaced. This custom dual exhaust system was just installed. You  can see how solid the original floor panels and frame rails are on this car, front to back. This is a well cared for example and it shows. The wheels of choice are these recently replaced American Racing 14-inchers wrapped in recent B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's sized at 235/60R14 all around.

The doors, hood, and trunk align correctly. The trunk itself is clean and detailed, displays excellent metal along with the correct mat & spare tire/wheel. The door panels are clean and detailed throughout. The door undersides are excellent.

The original trim identification plate is also in place. This is a 289 2V car with factory 4-speed manual transmssion, 2.80 gearing, a Rangoon Red finish and red crinkle vinyl interior (now custom red & white vinyl).
