Clean may be the perfect word for a car like this one, a lovely 1965 Ford Mustang coupe that pretty much describes the Mustang era in the 60’s. From the red stripes to the white paint to the detailed interior and moving to the engine bay the car looks great. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this 1965 Ford Mustang coupe to you.

Someone took a great deal of time to come up with a great little custom Mustang that has touches of  a  Shelby GT  and all in a 6 cylinder car. When you dream about cars, you may be dreaming of something custom or simply an original model.  The paint looks fantastic with the red stripes along the car; the paint is fairly new and coated with quality PPG Deltron base/clear coat. Starting the list the owner of the car did a custom Shelby exterior that includes side scoops, Shelby wheels, hood scoop, and GT 350 badged wheels.

The tail lights are from a mid 60s Cougar. Nothing comes in between this Mustang and the street but the new  racing modular wheels wrapped in Starfire tires. Black buckets in the interior are like good old friends for people that own Mustangs. Its all in excellent shape, remarkably restored with the new Ford licensed reproduction products. 

The interior looks absolutely stunning, fresh carpets and door panels look great and the original dashboard is still in place.  Fuel and temperature may be all you need on a basic car but on this one the owner decided to add a tach and an oil pressure gauge. The miles are believed to be original, but we have no proof of that. A Vintage Air unit was installed.

 The AM/FM radio is currently out of order and it is not working. Under the hood there is a newly rebuilt 200 six cylinder with less than 200 miles on it.  To make this car sound more powerful there is a dual flow master chambered exhaust that provides a true V-8 sound at idle. Factory equipment such as the blue air intake are still in place.

The trunk has the correct mat and is very clean and detailed. There is no rust under  the mat and the car does not have a spare tire. The trunk is clean and solid, but was never really detailed when the car was redone.
