The AM/FM Delco radio was one of the most popular options in 1966. 95% of Corvettes produced in '66 had them. You have to have tunes in your 'Vette, right?
The seating is clean and detailed throughout.
The convertible top frame is also clean and detailed, folding easily in its correct position too.
The engine compartment houses the factory 327 cube V8. The engine is well detailed, showcasing the correct components I will detail for you.
The ignition shielding is in place over both the distributor and the spark plug wires. These were utilized to minimize radio interference.
The block stamping on the engine pad is 6104510 V0805HF. The engine block casting # is 3892657. The blocks casting date reads 8296.
4-wheel disc brakes became available standard on the 1965 Corvette & up. This car has had recent brake work performed. It stops excellent.
The "Lester" stamped finned aluminum valve covers are also correct for this car.
The white convertible top is very nice, fastening securely in place and sealing up well.
The Soft-Ray tinted side glass is in good condition. The windows operate correctly. The windshield is a Sunshade Solex unit.
Underneath this car, it showcases a clean factory frame throughout. The floorboards are solid and the front end has recently been gone through and rebuilt with fresh bushings, etc. This car drives out really nice and is ready to enjoy.
