Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this fully restored 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 Sports Coupe. This car displays high quality paint and features excellent mechanicals. We have done a host of work on this car in the last 2 years including a full tune with a carburetor replacement, a classic auto air conditioning system installed, and additional maintenance. We have receipts for approximately $5,000 detailing the recent work The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos. Be sure to visit the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.

Pontiac's Firebird was introduced in 1967 to compete with the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang. The car's design features Camaro F-body basic features & the GTO's A-body drivetrain with asthetic changes such as special louvered quarter panels, tail lamps, and a Pontiac styled front end. The suspension and subframe were also modified to handle the 400 engine. With 82,560 Firebirds produced in 1967, only 18,632 were ordered with the 400 engine. The exterior showcases exceptional midnight black base/clearcoat paint over the very straight sheetmetal. The doors, hood, and deck lid align correctly. This is an attractive Firebird.

The wheels of choice are these 17-inch polished American Racing wheels fitted with 215/45ZR17 & 235/55R17 Dunlop radials. Stopping duties are handled via power front disc & rear drum brakes. Under the hood is the 400 cubic inch V8, conservatively rated at 325 horsepower. The engine compartment is clean and detailed throughout. This car has had a host of mechanical work performed in recent history. The air conditioning system was installed in 2013. The carburetor was recently replaced. The ignition system has been upgraded with an HEI unit. The firewall, inner fenders, and cure support display excellent sheetmetal.

Open the doors to 1967. The interior features factory bucket seating and a center console. The dash, door panels and carpeting is clean and detailed. The stereo is a Pioneer CD system (MVH-P8200BT) while the steering wheel stays true to 1967 with the 3-spoke woodgrain unit. The gauge cluster is original and a tri of Sunpro gauges have been added to the console to monitor the oil pressure, water temperature and voltage. The trunk is clean and detailed. The undercarriage is in good condition throughout.
