Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this outstanding classic 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. This car was originally sold on May 25th, 1967 here in Texas at Morris Volkswagen in Arlington, a suburb of Dallas. This car has retained its correct colors and restored as needed over the years. This is a superb example of arguably the best year Volkswagen Beetle. The color is the correct Savannah Beige. We hope you enjoy our presentation. This is a car that can be driven to a car show and win. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos of this classic Beetle. Be sure to check out the museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.

We have the original owner's manual for this Beetle. The exterior displays the correct Savannah Beige paint in great condition. The body is excellent. The roof rack looks great on this classic VW Beetle. The stance is perfect on this Volkswagen. The car has recent suspension work done with receipts to verify. It drives and handles great. The wheels of choice are the classic steel wheels with VW center caps. Radial tires and white wall inserts are fitted all around for the classic look & modern road handling. Open the doors to 1967. Is this the summer er.. winter of love again all over or what? The interior is just excellent throughout this Beetle. The beige "leatherette" upholstery is in excellent condition front to back as are the door panels and headliner material. The rubber floor mat is in great shape as is the rubber weatherstripping throughout this Bug.

The factory shifter goes through the gears with ease and the clutch grips strong. There is a wire basket & fire extinguisher as well. The dash displays the Spartan factory accommodations with fancy equipment such as a Speedometer and Fuel Gauge. The Sapphire "V" All-Transistor radio works and is paired with a glove-box fitted AM/FM converter box. The glovebox retains an original decal and a 1970s battery replacement decal, still in place (not the battery though). We also have the original owner's manual. 1967 brought several positive changes to the Beetle. Engine power was increased slightly to 53 horsepower while the charging system was now 12-volt. Two-speed windshield wipers were a new feature and the doors were lockable. The parking lamps became part of the turn signals and glass headlamp covers were no longer installed.

The 1500 c.c. flat-4 engine runs out smooth and is paired with the factory 4-speed manual transmission. This is a good running car. Note the excellent paint condition and reflections. The undercarriage shows very well throughout. This car has had a host of work performed over the years, most recently the shocks have been replaced. The tie rod ends have been replaced as well. The jacking equipment and spare tire/wheel are in place. The trunk is clean and detailed. There is also a car cover and some assorted VW parts. This is your opportunity to own a great collector quality 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.
