Buick's Electra showcased an extensive re-design for 1969, arguably the most attractive of the Electra model years with a more swept-line design. This example is finished in its correct Signal Red. The paint and body are straight and in good condition throughout. This is a really good old car. It runs great and drives down the road straight. The body is original and solid, but the paint has a lot of nicks and chips. I detailed several of them in photographs.

Many of our photos were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom.  Be sure to visit the museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The engine compartment is original, housing the factory 430 cubic inch V8. This was the only available engine for the '69 Electra 225 and is rated at 360 horsepower. This car features air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. This Buick has had 3 owners since new. Originally purchased in Dallas by a business man for his wife's birthday, she used it just here locally. In the ninties, it was sold to a doctor in the panhandle of Texas and the current owner purchased it in 2000. The miles are believed to be original.

Further inspection of the engine compartment will reveal the original trim & vin identification plates in place. Open the doors to luxury for 1969. The interior features red vinyl upholstery, clean and in good condition throughout. The white convertible top is protected with a red boot. The dash displays clean original instrumentation and controls along with this vintage under-dash 8-Track player. It works and the Doobie Brothers tape is included. The power windows are working throughout. The door panels are in good condition. The door undersides are solid.

The white convertible top is power operated and in very good condition inside and out. The original top had some damage and was replaced in 2001. The undercarriage features the original floor pans and trunk pan. The frame is in good condition throughout. This undercarriage is really nice for the year model. This car has been kept in dry climate conditions, you can tell by the condition of this underbody. The wheels of choice are the factory 15-inch wheels wrapped in 235/70 Whitewall Radial tires.

The original trunk is solid and complete, with original spare tire, wheel and jacking equipment.
