Ford's Mach 1 Mustang was so successful that Ford soon cancelled the GT altogether, making the Mach 1 Mustang Ford's primary street performer.
These reflective Mach 1 graphics were optional. The standard Mach 1 graphics were black.
The blackout hood treatment gives the Mach 1 a sinister appearance.
Under the standard Mach 1 hood scoop is a later model 351 4V engine.
This powerplant was factory rated at 290 horsepower. The engine was rebuilt to specs. Induction is courtesy of the original 4bbl. Holley carburetor.
Exhaust gases are expelled through the correct exhaust manifolds through the chromed dual exhaust tips (sounds EXCELLENT, be sure to listen to the video).
Factory accessories include power steering and air conditioning. The A/C has been converted to 134a.

The interior has been restored to original. Deluxe Black bucket seating is accented with red vinyl inserts that match the red vinyl pads on the black carpeting. The headliner and door panels are in excellent condition. The gauges are working throughout this Mustang, including the Mach 1 clock and interior lighting.

Backed by the stout C6 automatic transmission, this car was originally a 4-speed equipped Mach 1, as confirmed by its trim identification tag.
The original identification and V.I.N. plates are in place.
I also want to mention the door undersides are clean and solid, indicative of a dry climate kept vehicle.
The underbody has received the same attention as the rest of the car. A dry climate example, the flooring is in exceptional condition throughout. Restoration work includes replaced shocks, coils, leaf springs, rebuilt front end, and replaced bushings throughout. This car was converted to front disc brakes. The factory rear end houses 3.25 gears.
This muscular Mustang rides on Magnum 500 wheels fitted with classic raised white letter B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A 235/60R15s.
The hood and deck lid spoilers are OEM FORD pieces, not replicated.
The trunk is clean and detailed, completed with the correct mat, jacking equipment, and full-sized spare.
These classic black rear window louvers are FORD pieces, no replicated.
