The Firebird 400 Convertible is an extremely rare automobile. There were only 6,981 400s produced with automatic transmissions. Of those, the majority were coupes. This rare example has received a recent "driver quality" green metallic paint job. The paint is in excellent condition with only a few minor chips and imperfections.

This car is equipped with front disc brakes. The "400's" Grill area are identified with a Chrome surround, a triangular center arrow emblem, and silver paint surrounding the mesh centers. You can see by the first page of the PHS Report, that this is a true 400

The green vinyl interior, like the exterior, is in excellent driver quality condition. The automatic transmission is a three speed Turbo 400. The radio has been replaced with a SONY Stereo / CD player.

This past year, the engine was removed and sent out for a professional rebuild. At the same time, the heater core was replaced, thermostat and new points and plugs were installed. The car was also just recently treated to a new set of brakes. We want to thank our friends at the Frontires of Flight Museum for allowing us to shoot many of our photos ther. PLease visit this great museum next time you're in Dallas.

The B F Goodrich white letter tires appear almost new. The size is P235 / 60/ R14 - M+S. The original style sport wheels are in excellent condition. The chrome accent trim rings are in good condition with only some small curb scrapes on the leading edges. The overall condition of the glass is excellent.

Another part of the 400, is the hood scoops and corresponding 400 letters with orange painted inserts. The odometer shows 47,518. The windshield is in good condition with only a small number of small chips found on most cars. The undercarriage is solid and in original codition.
