1968 Saw the introduction of Jaguar's Series II with a re-designed nose & tail along with lights that met with U.S. Federal regulation. Sports Car International magazine listed the E-Type Jaguar as number one on their Top Sports Cars of the 1960s. This example is finished in brilliant red with biscuit interior and a matching top. This is a numbers matching, driving quality example that you can cruise in and enjoy.
Series II cars utilized larger Girling disc brakes along with a stronger chrome-plated wire wheel. This example rides on a set of 15-inch wires wrapped in 205/70R15 B.F. Goodrich Radial Touring T/As.
The finish shows well with minor imperfections present on closer inspection. It is a very good driver quality finish.
The XKE was conceived with the spirit of the XKC & D-Type racing Jaguars of the 1950s.
The bonnett shows well, as does the brightwork.
The paint displays a straight reflection down either side.
The aerodynamic design and appeal of the Jaguar E-Type cemented the legacy of this legendary mass produced supercar.



The trunk, bonnett, and doors open and close as they should.


The Biscuit tan soft top is in good condition and seals well throughout. There are some impefections photographed.

Designed by an aerodynamic engineer named Malcom Sawyer, the front engine, rear-wheel drive platform features a moncoque body and a tubular front chassis.

The door panels are in good condition. Note the hood latches are located in both door jambs.

The 4.2 Liter engine runs smooth. Induction is courtesy of twin Stromberg carburetors. This car features its original 6-cylinder engine with the data plate matching the engine stamping.

The cross-flow radiator and twin electric fans aide the cooling of the Series II Jaguar's tremendously.

The comfortable interior features original gauges throughout along with an Alpine CD Stereo. The seating, carpeting, dash, and console show well. There is some color fade to note on the armrest and center console.

The instruments and toggle switches are reminescent of Jaguar's racing history.

Open the door to 1970.

The dash is straight and clean throughout.
The door undersides are in exceptional condition.
The 69,736 miles is believed to be original to this Jaguar.
The manufacturers plate on the door is affixed in place and the under hood plate is also securely mounted in place.
The chromed wire wheels show well and are wrapped in 205/70R15 B.F. Goodrich Radial Touring T/As.

The undercarriageis dry and in good condition. The front flooring appears to have been replaced at some time. Altogether, a solid underbody.

The engine underside is dry and clean.
