Beginning life as a dressed up Chevy Cheyenne, this Texas truck was disassembled and restored to this beautiful condition approximately 3,000 miles ago. This is a truck that drives and shows exceptionally well. You can drive it anywhere comfortably. The truck was taken off the frame; the chassis has been sand-blasted and sealed front to back. The fasteners have been replaced and or restored. This is simply a well-restored, beautiful example of a 1972 Chevrolet C-10.
The exterior is finished in GM yellow, displaying excellent paint and body throughout. The body panels are straight and detailed. This is a corrosion-free truck that has been kept garaged and pampered since restoration.
The level of detail is excellent on this pickup. The glass and seals were replaced along with the chromed re-done and all rubber components replaced.
Originally equipped with Cheyenne trim, the exterior was stripped of the chrome for this unique look.
This is a Cowboy Cadillac, as well call them. The interior features the black deluxe vinyl upholstery and a few tasteful upgrades.
The dash houses the correct GM gauges and a very nice cluster. The steering column is a tilt unit. The dash itself is painted and detailed like the rest of this beautiful truck.
The cab is in excellent condition. The visors are also in place.
Under the hood is the stout 350 c.i. 4bbl. V8. This rebuilt engine is paired with a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission and freshly rebuilt GM 12-bolt rear end with 3.08 gearing. The engine was fitted with a mild performance camshaft and has a great rumble along with excellent street characteristics. Ignition spark is provided by the tried and true GM HEI system. The engine compartment is clean and detailed throughout. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are excellent. The firewall displays glossy paint just like the exterior. This is a quality done truck and it shows.
The underbody is clean and detailed, displaying the extensive restoration work. The fuel tank has been relocated to the rear of the truck. The chassis was sand-blasted and painted. The flooring and cab corners show very well. This is a dry climate Chevrolet truck.
The door panels are clean and detailed on both sides. The door undersides are in excellent condition. The weather-strip was replaced throughout. The new window glass rolls up and down with ease, complete with fresh window felts. The glass fits tight. The glass seals have also been replaced front to back.
The bed has been finished in Line-X protective coating. Check out the bowtie up front.
The wheels of choice are these stylish Billet Specialty wheels sized at 15-inches all around and wrapped in 255/70R15 Performance Radials.
This is your opportunity to own a very nice 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup truck with tasteful upgrades. This is a wonderful truck to drive and show.
