Most first generation Blazer's were sold in a hardtop
configuration with options, however the base model Blazer only
came with a seat for the driver.
Open the door to 1972. The interior features bucket seating, a
center console, deluxe green vinyl interior, an AM radio and a
rear seat.
The factory GM instruments are functional in this Blazer. The
Four-Season air conditioning blows cold.
The doorpanels are clean and detailed throughout. The door
undersides are solid.
The rear seating was optional. The base Blazer/s came with
nothing more than a drivers seat.
Under the hood is the optional 350 c.i. 4bbl. V8. This engine is
clean and detailed. It runs out strong. The engine and
transmission were rebuilt in 2000 when the truck was repainted.
Look closely and you'll notice the original factory markings
still in place on the firewall.
The undercarriage showcases the original frame and flooring
throughout in excellent condition. This has always been a well
cared for Blazer and it shows.
The hardtop has been restored and is also in excellent
condition.
This heavy-duty stance is thanks to the custom 15-inch wheels
wrapped in substantial 31 x 10.50 Goodyear Wrangler rubber.
The Blazer was initially available as only a 4-wheel drive in
1969, but was available in either form by 1972. This (72) would
also be the last year of the iconic C/K pickup design.
The original option identification tag is still in the glovebox
and the original V.I.N. plate is still affixed to the driver's
side door jamb.
