1973 Jeep CJ-5

Go Back....

.

This killer stance is courtesy of Super Swamper Rubber.

The paint is a base/clearcoat metallic green done to a high quality throughout.

Inside the Jeep, the quality of the paint carries over.

The 3-inch lift kit is accompanied by new springs, AT shocks, and a steering dampener.

These mammoth meats are wrapped around 15-inch Crager Black wheels.
These are 33-inch tires (33 x 12.50R15LTs), complete with a matching spare tire/wheel.

There is a nick on the passenger side fender you can see above, the only real "flaw" we were able to find on this amazing CJ.

Underneath the hood sits the AMC 304 cubic inch V8 engine.
This motor features nice detail and bolt-on performance modifications.

A Holley 4-bbl carburetor feeds through an aluminum intake. ignition duties are handled by Pertronix along with a
Flame Thrower Coil. Hedman headers breathe through a true dual exhaust system.
The gas tank and fuel system is new as well. An Optima Yellow-Top battery keeps things hot.

The firewall and inner fenders are painted and detailed. It is obvious this Jeep has been built right.
The 3-speed manual transmission shifts easy. The transfer case was also rebuilt during the restoration.
The front end features a custom fabricated 1/4" steel plate bumper along with an 8000lb. rated WARN winch.

The backside also features a custom fabricated rear bumper and rear tire carrier.
Open the door and climb on it, sit a spell...

The interior was completely refurbished with new seats.
The dash panel is new and painted to match. It features all functional black face instruments.

The full top is by Best-Top.
This provides full coverage, including the soft top and half doors along with a new Bikini Top.

The chassis was further detailed and coated with POR-15 chassis paint.
The bottom of the body tub was sprayed with UPOL raptor rock and chip guard coating.
The brake lines were replaced with stainless steel hoses.

We would like to thank the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum for allowing us to "crawl" through their unique facility in the Jeep.

Check out our videos and we're sorry for the wind noise, but it's Spring time in Texas.
