Under the hood is the rebuilt 6 cylinder engine. The Triumph's
U.S. variant engine was carbureted and was rated at 104
horsepower with twin SU carbs. This example features twin
Stromberg carburetor induction and runs out exceptionally strong
under throttle. Further inspection of the engine compartment
will confirm clean and detailed inner fender wells, core support
and firewall steel throughout. The original identification
plates are also intact under the hood. This transmission is
mated to the stout 4-speed manual transmission, also with a
recent clutch. The majority of this cars restoration work has
been done in the last 3 years and is complete with a packet of
receipts to verify.
The door jamb retains its original identification tag. This car
was built in November 1972. The interior is classic TR-6 and in
very good condition throughout.
The dash displays the vintage sport-oriented Smiths gauges
including a tachometer. The instruments are in working order,
highlighting by wood grain accents.
The transmission of choice is the factory 4-speed manual.
The bucket seating is clean and detailed throughout. There is a
small tear on the bottom of the passenger side seat (dime
sized.)
The trunk is clean and detailed as well, displaying nice
paneling throughout. The spare tire/wheel is also in place. The
trunk pan is solid.
The undercarriage is also in exceptional condition throughout.
This is your opportunity to own a quality TR-6 ready to enjoy.
The vinyl soft top raises and lowers easily and is in
exceptional condition.
