Still displaying the original paint & body, close inspection of the car will confirm its originality. There are some minor chip touch-up on a no-hit car. The finish is polished and detailed; the factory Alloy wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle Rubber sized at 225/70/R15 Chevrolet's Corvette enjoyed a very nice restyle for '78. The small back window was replaced with this much larger glass for increased storage and visibility.
The interior features quality seating and instruments. Everything is functional, with exception of the clock. The carpeting is intact and in good condition as are the dash and door panels. The rear storage compartments are all intact, showing their age, but overall in good condition. Notice that the original t-top straps and the rear window shade is still in place as well. the factory speedometer, tachometer, center console & gauges are unrestored & well-cared for. There is fading on the ashtray door, never touched-up! This car retains its originality.

This car was ordered with the AM/FM CB stereo option, first available on the '78 Corvettes.
The engine compartment features the original L-48 4bbl. 350 cubic inch V8 engine.
Notice that the original breather assembly and cold air induction is still intact, often missing from these cars.
Underneath the car, you'll appreciate the original framework and floorboards. This is obviously a dry climate example.
The undercarriage has not been altered or detailed. The original spare tire carrier is still place as well (with spare.)
The engine itself has not been altered or detailed, this car runs very well, without modification.
The automatic transmission shifts with authority. The steering is precise and the brakes stop straight.
Of course, these Corvettes were equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes.
