Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this beautiful 1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit. This car is in excellent condition inside, out, and underneath. It is a great car to show and drive. Firebird sales soared to record highs in 1978 with over 187,000 sold. The mid optioned Firebird Esprit was sold with a base price of $4,842 and 36,926 were produced.

This beautiful example features quality base/clearcoat silver paint with black rally stripes. The body displays quality paint and steel throughout this dry climate Pontiac. The paint work was done approximately 8 years ago and is in excellent condition today.

Open the door to 1978. The interior features restored bucket seating along with clean and detailed factory components throughout. The dash and instruments feature wood grain trim. The original radio has been replaced with a CD/MP3 AM/FM Stereo.

The sport-oriented gauges show well  

The bucket seating and center console is in excellent condition. The upholstery has been restored. This is a very clean interior.

We have the original build sheet as well.

 

Under the hood is the optional 350 c.i. 4bbl. V8 matched with the TH350 automatic transmission. This engine features power steering and air conditioning. Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm clean and detailed original inner fenderwells and core support steel throughout.

The undercarriage displays original flooring and framework throughout in excellent condition. Note the exceptional original floor pans. This car has been kept in dry climate conditions and it shows. The exhaust system has recently been replaced

The trunk is in excellent condition. Clean and detailed, the trunk pan is speckled and paired with a padded & carpeted mat, spare tire/wheel and custom spare cover.

The door panels and door undersides are in excellent condition as is the weatherstrip throughout this car.The original V.I.N. and trim identification plates are in place.
