Interestingly, 1982 would be the first fuel injected Corvette since 1965. This "Fuelie" was rated at 200 horsepower, 10 more than the previous 4bbl. equipped 1981 'Vette. The Cross-Fire Injection and new for '82 Overdrive transmission made for much better gas mileage and emissions.

The undercarriage is in astonishing condition. The original spare tire/wheel is still in place. Many of the original decals and markings are evident throughout the undercarriage. The frame is factory thick. It is obvious to the trained eye that this Corvette has spent its entire life in a dry climate and seldom, if ever, driven in inclement weather conditions.

 The original paint does show some wear on close inspection, primarily a few chips, no repairs.

 There is minor tearing at the driver's side bolster, shown above. 

The interior is beautifully preserved with original components throughout. All of the electricals are original and functional. Previously, the original power antenna was replaced with a correct power replacement.
